Assist with the development of en route care training content and objective metrics, in support of medical simulation, education and training requirements.
Perform medical technology and device testing and evaluation as well as bench altitude/environmental chamber operations.
Coordinate with 711 HPW/RHB professional staff in authoring scientific paper(s), professional presentation(s) and DoD technical reports.
Assure confidentiality of documents, communications and study data (Collaborative Institutional Training Initiative (CITI) and follow Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and Institutional Review Board (IRB) requirements CITI training current and follow HIPAA and IRB requirements).
Facilitate translation of research into practice. Utilize evidence to develop knowledge/technology products for RHB and provide evidence-based solutions.
Provide and accept technical guidance and advisory recommendations.
Work with project managers and professional staff to assure that project is executing on schedule/budget.
The contractor employee shall possess a minimum education of a Master of Science degree, with a minimum of 20 years nursing experience.
The contractor employee shall have military service background, with deployment experience.
The contractor employee shall have aeromedical evacuation flight nurse and critical care air transport experience.
The contractor employee shall have instructor experience at USAFSAM and C-STARS sites, as well as expertise in instructional system design for the development of curricula content, plans of instruction, and evaluation criteria.
