The contractor employee shall provide administrative support and assistance necessary to aid in mission accomplishment.
The contractor employee shall receive telephone calls, greet visitors, and ascertain the nature of the calls or visits, and direct the caller or visitor to the appropriate staff member or office. The contractor employee shall send and receive faxes. The contractor employee shall maintain the ability to answer non-technical requests for information, such as status of reports, suspense dates for matters requiring compliance, and have similar information readily available from files or from knowledge of organization.
The contractor employee shall review and process incoming and outgoing correspondence, reports, materials, publications, regulations, and directives, and maintain FE’s Electronic File Plans, in accordance with policies and directives. This may include acting as the Department Functional Area Record Manager (FARM) and maintaining official records for the Department.



The contractor employee shall have minimum of 3 years of administrative assistant experience. The contractor employee shall possess extensive organizational skills and the ability to work independently. The contractor employee shall have proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office software to include Word, advanced Excel functions, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat, and Advanced document management tools. The contractor employee shall be willing to learn and manage training platforms/programs adopted by USAFSAM in efforts to maximize education delivery for courses they help to support. The contractor employee shall have at least an Associate’s degree.
