Responsibilities

Saratoga Medical has an immediate opening for a full-time Medical Social Worker to work at DGMC on Travis AFB in Fairfield, CA, as part of the require Exceptional Family Member Program (EFMP).

The Social Worker will work Monday through Friday, day shift only for a 40 hour work week schedule.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS:

 

Degree/Education (5.2.4): shall be a graduate of a baccalaureate or higher

degree program, and if applicable, accredited by a national accrediting agency

recognized by the US Department of Education. A degree in a medically related

field is required.

 

BLS certification - prior to start date required

Experience: Experience: Must have a minimum of two (2) years full-time

experience in specialized field of study and care coordination or case

management in a medical setting, with clinical services being performed for at

least 12 of the last 36months.

Licensure/Registration: Licensure/Certification. Must have an active, valid,

current and unrestricted license (with no limitations, stipulations or pending

adverse actions) to practice his or her specialized area of medical care (e.g.

Nursing, or Social Worker) in any US state/jurisdiction.
