Pharmacy Technician

Saratoga Medical currently has an immediate opening for a Pharmacy Technician at Mountain Home Air Force Base in Idaho. This Pharmacy Technician will be working a full-time work week Monday through Friday between the hours of 7:00 am to 5:00 pm, except on holidays. Provide services to the active duty population!

• Perform full range of pharmacy tech procedures 
• Perform pharmaceutical dispensing duties including filling new outpatient prescriptions, refilling prescriptions, and entering orders into databases.
• Perform information consultation duties including supporting new and refill prescriptions, supporting patient and physician requests, monitoring for drug interactions, and reporting adverse drug reactions. 

• Must be a graduate from a formal pharmacy technician program accredited by the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP) or a formal pharmacy tech program of the U.S. military 
• Must be certified by the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB)
• Must have one year of experience as a pharmacy tech after graduation
